Frequently Asked Questions

What are mats made of coir?

Coir Mats are made on hand looms, power looms, or frames and with or without a brush. Creel Mats are known for their thin brush. Rod Mats for thick brushes and Fibre Mats for compact brushes. Latex/rubber backing makes the mats non-slip.

Are coir mats for indoor or outdoor?
We would not recommend using any doormat made from natural outside. As coir is a natural product it will start to biodegrade if it gets wet or is left in standing water e.g. from rain. We would only recommend using coir products indoors or in a semi-exposed area e.g. a covered porchway.
What is the use of rubber mat?

Rubber matting is mostly used as essential safety flooring equipment to increase comfort underfoot, provide relief from fatigue, prevent slipping, and absorb impact. Rubber matting can be used in a number of different locations and applications, from factory matting to stable flooring.

Are rubber floor mats good?
They’re durable and long-lasting. Rubber floor mats are designed to withstand a lot of wear and tear. They won’t fade or break down as easily as other materials, which makes them a good choice for people who are looking for a long-term solution.
Which mats are best for home?

Rubber mats are often used in outdoor settings because they are durable and resistant to water and weather. Vinyl mats are also durable and easy to clean, making them a good choice for commercial settings. Carpet mats are softer and more comfortable, making them a good choice for homes and offices.
